Larry Stanley, Vice Chairman
A former Group Chief Executive of Aer Lingus, Larry Stanley has had a long and distinguished career in the aviation industry.Larry was notably responsible for drawing up the highly sucessful Aer Lingus Survival Plan of 2001 He also led the Irish carrier into full membership of the global oneworld alliance. Prior to his CEO appointment Larry headed the airlines profitable Subsidiaries division and served as chairman of its maintenance, travel, hotel and other subsidiaries. He is also a former Chief Executive of Bahamasair.
Larry joined NYRAS as Vice Chairman following his retirement from Aer Lingus in 2002. In addition to his role with NYRAS, Larry serves as a non-executive Board Member of Aer Arann, the Irish regional airline. Larry holds degrees in Business Studies and Arts from Trinity College, Dublin.
