Andrew Tarry, Industry Analyst

Andrew Tarry has worked as Nyras Capital’s Industry Analyst since January 2008. He is primarily responsible for the collection, analysis and presentation of industry data to clients and the Nyras organisation. He is also responsible for forecasting traffic and financial statements for airlines, airports and other companies within the aviation sector.

Andrew assists management on project work; including strategic option review assignments for European and Gulf carriers, financial modelling for start up and established carriers and assistance with revenue management and network planning. Andrew has a particular interest in slot allocation, network planning and slot valuation. Andrew has undertaken an extensive slot portfolio valuation for a European carrier and liaises regularly with those that have an interest in trading in slots.

Andrew develops and maintains links with the investment community, regularly attending briefings, and providing timely market relevant perspectives to interested parties. He also provides Nyras research reports to clients within the aviation sector.

Prior to joining Nyras, Andrew was an auditor at BDO Stoy Hayward LLP, working in the professional practice and real estate departments, undertaking business assurance and due diligence exercises. He also undertook investigative accountancy exercises including working on the Department of Trade Investigation into the collapse of MG Rover.

Andrew holds a BA in Business Management and a Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Finance from the University of Exeter. He has a working knowledge of French and German.
